My old pads had flattened out so much that my ears were touching the drivers, but these restore that original plush comfort and the foam disk is a nice bonus for keeping the shape. Snapped right on in under a minute, and they feel just as dense and firm as when I first got the headphones years ago.
The foam disk included with the new cushions is a nice touch—it actually restores that firm, even clamping feel I'd lost. My HD 600s sound as open and detailed as they did on day one, and the fit is snug without any pressure points.
